That Girl in the Park

Link To Photographer - Isabel Solano
| "Found a bunch of street kids bathing in a park. Their first reaction was to run out of the water when they saw my camera. They asked me why I was taking photos and said they wouldn't like me to take photos of them. I told them I just enjoyed taking photos but I wouldn't take any of them if they didn't want me to. As I was turning my back they called me: that's ok, you can take a photo of us. I did and showed them the result. The difficult part after that was to have them out of my photos. I had already left them and was photographing this fountain, when this girl discreetly appeared between me and my former subject. Of course she wanted to be the subject, and she was! Some minutes later they were all running away from the police." - Isabel Solano |
